Cameron Clark joins EXP as VP of business development Mining

EXP is pleased to announce that Cameron Clark has joined EXP as vice president of business development for its mining sector. With a mining and exploration background in domestic and international business development and marketing, Cameron’s strategy and networking align strategically with EXP’s local and global capabilities.

Cameron’s mining experience began in greenfield exploration moving through geology, mining engineering, geotechnical engineering, EPC/EPCM and IoT wireless and remote monitoring.  Comfortable in C-Suite, mine site, banking, capital markets, NOMADS, and family offices in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Central Asia, LATAM and Australasia, his market flexibility and teamwork fit the goals and objectives of EXP and the firm’s mining team.

The mining team provides Cameron, and the strategy team, a complete range of disciplines from pit-to-port and design to fulfillment, in over 90 locations. Cameron’s domestic and international experience, along with his ability to quickly develop relationships nicely fits in with the team, and the team and I are pleased he is joining us.”

Cameron’s industry experience comes from the former Fugro Airborne Survey, Quantec Geoscience, Pico Envirotec (now Nuvia Dynamics, part of the Vinci enterprise), Primero Americas and Worldsensing SL. Cameron will be responsible for expanding the mining footprint in North America and developing new and existing business relationships and will set the strategy and execution plan for all business development activities.

Cameron is a graduate of Royal Roads University (Victoria, BC) where he obtained his bachelor of commerce; Humber College (Toronto, ON), marketing diploma. He has given his time to industry events and community organizations, including Mining-for-Excellence and Mining-for-Beer, focusing on professional development and networking, and served as a member of the Rotary Club of Barrie.
