EXP is excited to welcome Rajiv Iyangar, PE as vice president and construction department manager. The transportation industry veteran brings over two decades of experience and will be responsible for accelerating EXP’s growth in construction management throughout the Midwest. He will sit in EXP’s Chicago office and report to transportation leader Vice President of Transportation Brian Umbright, PE, SE.
Rajiv’s industry experience, including concentrated knowledge in engineering, project management and construction, has contributed to many successful projects including the Illinois Tollway’s I-294/I-57 Tri-State Tollway Interchange and Reconstruction and Widening of the existing Elgin O’Hare Expressway and IDOT’s I-55 Resurfacing from Weber Road to Willow Springs.
“Rajiv brings the transportation and construction expertise needed to deliver impactful results to clients,” said EXP’s Vice President of Transportation Brian Umbright. “Our clients in Illinois and throughout the region are implementing a record number of transportation projects. Rajiv will support our team in meeting each milestone with technical excellence,” he continued.
Rajiv holds a master’s degree in environmental engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya. He is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois.
