EXP was recognized by the American Council of Engineering Companies of Illinois with the Special Achievement Award for the firm’s work on the I-74 Bridges over Market Street & ICRR/Oak Street project. This award is presented to a firm whose project merits special recognition for its outstanding engineering achievements.
EXP is proud to receive one of 38 awards given for projects that exhibit engineering excellence from the engineer and the client. EXP provided bridge inspection, bridge design and full civil and structural engineering services for this project that revitalized a key structure in the National Highway System. To minimize disruptions to traffic, EXP also evaluated construction staging and maintenance of traffic plans to keep commuters moving during the bridge replacement.
