At the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies-New Brunswick’s 2024 Engineering Awards Gala, EXP’s Senior Mechanical Engineer John Davis was presented with the President’s Award. The award recognizes an individual’s lifetime contribution to the advancement of the consulting engineering profession and industry in New Brunswick.
John has dedicated his professional career to the delivery of technical consulting engineering services for building and industrial mechanical system design projects throughout New Brunswick.
“John’s impact is not only evident in the quality services he has delivered for complex projects throughout New Brunswick, but also in his role as a mentor to the next generation of engineers. It is with great pleasure and honor that we celebrate this well-deserved recognition,” said EXP’s Vice President Richard Smith.
In John’s 40-year career, he has shaped the careers of engineers-in-training (EITs) and junior engineers. He has instilled in them an understanding of design parameters from his forensic and design work and illustrated practical examples of issues EITs and engineers are likely to encounter and how to overcome them.
John’s impactful career has shown an unwavering commitment and diligence to the engineering profession and the tenacity required to be a lifelong consulting engineer.
