EXP’s transportation market recently announced the promotion of Vinod Patel to vice president, Midwest bridge department manager. Throughout his 32 years at EXP, Vinod has been instrumental in setting the tone for unparalleled project management and EXP’s client-focused approach.

In his new role, Vinod will continue to advance EXP’s bridge department in the Midwest. With over 40 years of experience as a structural engineer, Vinod works to solve complex structural challenges and deliver high-quality complex projects to provide lasting value to clients. Vinod’s strong leadership skills are key in developing and mentoring the next generation of structural engineers and shaping EXP’s bridge team to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
Vinod is a graduate of the University of Baroda, India with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering as well as the University of Detroit with a master’s degree in civil engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in Illinois, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin, as well as a licensed structural engineer in Illinois. Vinod is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Council of Engineering Companies, Illinois and has been involved in numerous award-winning projects during his career.
