EXP has been selected by the Riyadh Infrastructure Project Center (RIPC) for its first project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). To support the region’s growth goals, the RIPC is a recently established government agency with a mission to improve efficiency in planning and implementing infrastructure projects in Riyadh through integrated planning and effective stakeholder management and coordination.
EXP will provide consulting services and establish processes, mechanisms, standards, related methodologies and organizational support to assist RIPC’s goals. The services will be delivered in various phases, as directed by RIPC, and include knowledge sharing and forming strategic partnerships with multiple entities in the United States and Great Britain, analysis of RIPC’s current processes and methodologies and development of processes to support the RIPC in achieving their strategic objectives.
In early September, EXP organized a series of meetings between the RIPC, Washington DC’s District Department of Transportation and the Miami-Dade Department of Transportation and Public Works. The teams discussed how robust cities implement infrastructure projects and consider permitting, planning and design. The team also met with Washington Gas to discuss the implementation of utilities in condensed areas.
“We were honored to host our esteemed guests from RIPC. Our team is very excited to continue our expansion into Saudi Arabia. This project provides our team with an opportunity to help the KSA meet their growth goals and create safe, effective and reliable infrastructure throughout the region, beginning in their capital Riyadh,” said Vice President, Infrastructure Faisal Hameed.
