It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Louis Roquet, a member of EXP’s Board of Directors since July 2016. He passed on February 24, 2023, at the age of 80.
Louis held numerous senior positions within Quebec’s public sector. His contributions positively affected Quebec’s economic stability, culture and growth. His roles included serving as Director General of the City of Montreal, CEO of the Société des alcools du Québec and CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Investissement Québec. He also sat on the board of directors of several major companies and organizations. His keen business sense and extensive professional background made him a key member of EXP’s Board of Directors to which he made significant contributions since 2016.
“We are sad to learn of Louis’ passing,” said Chairman and CEO Ivan Dvorak. “He was an individual with impeccable integrity, intellect and business acumen. His wisdom, humbleness and common-sense approach while dealing with decisions we had to make was very valuable to us, and he will be greatly missed.”
