Keystone Pipeline Project

Hardisty, AB, Canada to Patoka, IL and Cushing, OK, USA

a better functioning and more integrated energy market through a new, cross-country crude oil pipeline

Design and construction met the growing demand for energy in North America by contributing to an estimated 1,844 miles of pipeline—760 miles in Canada and 1,084 miles in the US.

With completely new crude oil infrastructure and related facilities, the Keystone Pipeline now delivers crude oil to terminals in Oklahoma and Illinois. The US portion consists of 30-inch pipeline between the US/Canada border and Patoka, Illinois, and traverses through North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and Illinois. The Cushing Extension provided an additional 278 miles of 36-inch pipeline.
