Located prominently on the campus of Mount Allison University, the newly repurposed Wallace McCain Student Centre provides a consolidated, single source destination for student services.
On the over 175-year-old campus, the new Wallace McCain Student Centre transformed the former Trueman House and Tweedie Hall, which previously housed generations of students, into a consolidated student services facility. Centrally located, students can now find important resources such as the cafeteria, wellness clinic, financial services and campus bookstore in one facility on campus.
An open design concept allows natural light and visual connection to all floors through a new interior atrium, now named the Trueman Atrium. The project transformed the rear face of the complex including the former McConnell Hall and added an extensive roof terrace making the view to and from the football field one that shows off the University’s architectural and facility excellence.
