The new Centrexpo Cogeco brings an ultramodern facility with flexible exhibition areas and high-tech capabilities to Drummondville. The new conference and exhibition center boasts a 6,000 m² flexible and dividable exhibition hall, a large entrance hall, food court, kitchen, offices, as well as a 1,200-space parking lot.
The new facility can accommodate up to 5,000 visitors and is designed to hold several expos and events simultaneously. The efficient structure has only two columns despite the long span of the exhibition hall, reducing construction costs by 10%.
The building’s systems are sustainable and efficient. The building is 30% more energy efficient than the National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings (NECB), and features a natural gas radiant heating system.
