Houston, TX, January 4, 2021 – EXP, a leader in Oil, Gas + Chemicals, announces the promotion of Vulcan Mutler, to senior vice president. Vulcan has been essential to EXP since joining in 2019. In his new role, Vulcan will assume the responsibilities of leading EXP’s Oil, Gas + Chemicals market and strengthen EXP’s industrial and chemical strategy, expanding business development opportunities and developing a robust pipeline of projects.
Vulcan’s industry expertise includes 40 years of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) / construction management (EPCM) and lumpsum turnkey projects, streamlining budgetary processing and expanding global reach. His experiences in leading positions at companies including Kiewit Energy, SNC-Lavalin FENCO and Dow Chemical, where his career evolved from project engineer to president of the business sector, have positioned him to successfully navigate the complexities of the industry.

Vulcan holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Istanbul and the University of Toronto. He also holds an executive MBA from Queens University and is a Professional Registered Engineer in Ontario.
