Adams Street Opening in Chicago

February 25, 2017

After being closed for over a year, Chicago’s newly reconstructed Adams Street Bridge and Viaduct reopened on February 24. This complex urban project replaced the existing 88-year-old viaduct spanning 13 railroad tracks and 5 passenger platforms of Chicago Union Station. The project also provided needed repairs to the adjacent iconic bascule bridge over the Chicago River. EXP is proud to have provided construction engineering services for this important project.
