As they stood on the steps of the Capitol in Washington, DC, our communications and marketing experts gazed at their two recent Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) awards and honored months of hard work. Hours before, the team won the Award of Excellence, for the second year in a row, this year for expresso 15: convergence in the external newsletter/publication category and the People’s Choice award, an open vote to the public and SMPS members alike.

After the Evening of Excellence at the SMPS Marketing Communications Awards, the longest-standing and most prestigious awards competition that recognizes excellence in marketing communications in the A/E/C industry, team members in attendance (pictured above from left to right), director, corporate marketing, Sarah Wilkinson, director of corporate communications, Emmanuelle Landry, creative manager, Megan Konys, senior communications specialist, Nadia Abou and director, regional marketing, Christina Cruz noted the win as a victory for employees, clients and team members, who together, were brave in the delivery of content and graphics, that make expresso like a monument itself – a piece of art.
