The Edison is part of a multi-restaurant development in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, utilizing both existing structures and new construction to create a unique dining experience.
The two-story restaurant, bar and live entertainment venue is designed to cultivate a sense of vintage flair and signal a new future through its resemblance to an abandoned 1920s power plant. The Edison brings elements of Gothic, Industrial, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Expressionism to its décor, creating a quaintly themed experience.
The venue showcases a cavernous, split-level space with expansive 35-foot ceilings, 7 distinct dining and bar areas seating over 340 people, waterfront balcony views, steampunk-inspired décor and a continuous lineup of unique acts.
EXP’s building engineering and technology design teams were involved in the demolition, design and construction administration phases of the project. Design of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and technology-based systems supported this unique dining experience and bringing the adventure to life.
