On track at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve

June 4, 2025

Since 2023, our infrastructure team has been responsible for overseeing the repaving work of the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve at Parc Jean-Drapeau, a 4,361 m car-racing track that hosts the iconic Canadian Grand Prix. This work helps maintain a high-quality track surface, improves drainage and optimizes performance and safety for F1 drivers.

Our team also oversaw the work to lower the track profile near turns eight and nine in order to improve clearance under the Concorde Bridge.

For nearly ten years, EXP teams have been supporting the Société du parc Jean-Drapeau annually in designing plans and specifications, as well as supervising various strategic interventions on Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve and the surrounding facilities. This ensures compliance with the requirements of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) and Octane Racing Group, the event organizer.
