EXP plays key role in the success of Hydro-Québec’s 2035 Action Plan

May 5, 2025

EXP is serving as a valuable partner for Hydro-Québec in achieving its Action Plan 2035: Towards a decarbonized and prosperous Québec. EXP has extensive knowledge of energy management and is committed to helping clients drive  energy transitions and reducing carbon emissions. Through Hydro-Québec’s 2035 Action Plan, EXP will continue to support their energy projects.

In 2024, EXP delivered sustainable projects for clients and submitted them to Hydro-Québec’s energy efficiency programs, which led to:

  • Over $4,702,000 of financial support and subsidies provided to EXP clients.
  • Nearly 14,263,000 kWh of energy saved – equivalent to the annual consumption of 840 households.

“Subsidies play a crucial role in building a sustainable and resilient future. They can help reduce initial project costs, accelerate project delivery, encourage innovative and long-term solutions and generate savings through reduced energy and operational costs,” said EXP’s Director, Energy Transition Julie Pellerin.

These results demonstrate the significant impact that EXP’s initiatives have on promoting energy efficiency and transitioning toward a greener economy. “We are committed to supporting our clients and partners so they can achieve their ambitious goals to reduce their carbon footprint,” added Julie.
