EXP and Lindblom Math and Science Academy — a selective enrollment high school located in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago — have developed a robust partnership.
For its eighth year, EXP welcomes 12 more Lindblom Math and Science Academy juniors and seniors. The students will be immersed in a custom curriculum created to support LMSA’s robust STEM program. EXP will offer insights into architecture and engineering disciplines and principles. From bi-weekly classroom visits to hands-on project-based learning, students will gain exposure to STEM careers.
“We have an incredible opportunity to continue our relationships with LMSA,” Senior Project Manager Horeya Czaplewski said. “Over the past seven years, we created a lasting partnership that has helped students explore career pathways, strengthen technical skills and provided an opportunity to envision themselves as part of the architecture and engineering profession. Our team is excited for another impactful year.”
