ADRENA features Saudi Arabia’s largest saltwater surf pool, more than 20 adventure experiences and a design approach prioritizing sustainability. Located near Shura Island, the new development offers visitors unique activities, from surfing to wakeboarding, cliff diving to skateboarding.

A benchmark for fast-tracked, multidisciplinary execution in a complex environment

ADRENA integrates advanced wave-generation systems, recreational assets and supporting infrastructure – delivered within an accelerated timeline through seamless coordination across multiple disciplines.

EXP led multidisciplinary engineering and design services – coordinating all engineering disciplines across civil and infrastructure, structural, MEP, fire protection, low-voltage systems, energy modeling, lighting design, vertical transportation and transportation planning.

Design addressed coastal environment equipment considerations and the balance of Dark Sky guidelines with water safety requirements.
