Mentorship is at the heart of how our people develop and progress their careers at EXP. It’s how we sharpen our skills, stay on top of trends and ensure continuity with our valued clients. To help others appreciate what it takes to foster this important relationship, we talked to Alena Fisher, senior architect, and Lee Lourn, architect, from our Halifax office to better understand their experience.

You’ll discover that mentorship is definitely a two-way street. “Being a mentor is very rewarding because you can also learn from each other,” explains Alena. “I believe we work well together because we love what we do,” adds Lee.

Much of their rewarding work is in the healthcare sector, including recent project wins like the Glace Bay Hospital in Halifax to design the renovations and a new addition!
