Eugene Collings-Bonfill joins EXP as vice president of municipal and bond engineering services. Based out of EXP’s Miami office, Eugene will be responsible for expanding the firm’s clientele and portfolio in the Southeast. Reporting to Senior Vice President, John Flint, he joins a growing and dynamic team of experts who are providing solutions across the Southeast region.
Eugene brings over 20 years of engineering and construction industry experience, including concentrated knowledge in surveying, engineering design, project management and construction. Throughout his career, Eugene has established a successful performance history with the Public Works Department of the City of Doral, the City of Miami and Miami-Dade County, Florida Department of Transportation, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise and Miami-Dade Expressway Authority roadway design and construction projects. His expertise has contributed to successful projects and programs including the City of Doral Parks Bond Program encompassing $150 Million dollars of Parks Improvements including Doral Central Park, I-595 Express Lanes Highway Improvements, HEFT Widening from North of Sunset to North of Bird Rd, as well as projects under Miami-Dade Expressway Authority, Florida Department of Transportation and state, county and municipal agencies.

Before joining EXP, Eugene served as the Assistant Director/Chief of Engineering at the Public Works Department of the City of Doral, where he oversaw the Public Works Department’s personnel and contributed to and oversaw projects within the disciplines of engineering, transportation, construction, facilities maintenance, fleet maintenance, sustainability, stormwater and utilities. Eugene is a graduate of the University of Miami with a bachelor’s in civil engineering and a master’s degree in civil/structural engineering in 2013. Eugene is a member of the Project Management Institute, Design-Build Institute of America, and American Society of Civil Engineers.
