Angelina Pedroso Center for Diversity and Intercultural Affairs

expanding capacity for student resource groups

Northeastern Illinois University’s Angelina Pedroso Center for Diversity and Intercultural Affairs building is the campus hub for student resource centers, including the Honors Programs, Career Services, and the Angeline Pedroso Center for Diversity and Intercultural Affairs.

Our addition to the Angelina Pedroso Center for Diversity and Intercultural Affairs provides 3,000 SF of additional program space to support the Pedroso Center’s important mission to provide programming and initiatives in a welcoming environment designed to educate, empower and retain students from socially and culturally diverse backgrounds.

The modest yet elegant pavilion-like addition is sensitively integrated into the existing 1960’s era campus architecture and includes open group activity spaces, private offices and a gallery for exhibition of student work.
