Privacy policy of EXP

Exp Global Inc., its subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions and branches (collectively, “EXP,” “we,” “our“) value individual privacy and we want to give our website visitors the opportunity to know how information we collect about them from our site at www.exp.com (the “Site“) are handled and used in accordance with the applicable law. At all times EXP reserves the right to disclose information where required by law or to comply with valid legal process (such as a search warrant, subpoena or court order), to protect the Company’s rights or property or during emergencies when safety is at risk.

Collection and handling of personal and non-personal information. EXP collects certain personal information when you provide it, such as when you choose to register for our e-mail service. EXP then requires that you indicate your name, address, e-mail address and certain other personal information. EXP also collects non-personal information. When you visit the Site, EXP can automatically collect non-personal information such as the date and time of your visits as well as the pages you have accessed. Our servers can also automatically collect other non-personal information such as technical information about the type and version of the browser you use, screen resolution, installed plugins, the name of your Internet access provider, and similar information. We also use “cookies” stored on your computer or mobile device to distinguish your device from the devices used by other users and to obtain information about the frequency of your visits to our Site.

Use of personal information. Any personal information you provide to us when you register for our e-mail service is only used to identify you and to enable us to send our electronic bulletin or respond to your inquiries. We use the non-personal information we collect to monitor use of the Site and improve its features. For purposes of analytics, we use third-parties such as Google Analytics and share non-personal information with them in order to analyze the usage of our Site.

Limitation of use and communication of personal information. It is important to note that the suppliers and other customers of EXP do not have access to your personal information at any time. Only EXP has access to your personal information. You have the option at all times to ask EXP to cease using your personal information. No personal information will be made available to persons outside EXP without your prior consent unless required by law or to comply with valid legal process (such as a search warrant, subpoena or court order), to protect the Company’s rights or property, or during emergencies when safety is at risk. EXP may, when necessary, disclose your personal information to third parties who administer or manage on-line services on its behalf or for maintenance or repairs to the site or our information systems.

Control of your personal information. E-mail communications from EXP or our agents are sent with your prior consent and always include the sender’s identification as well as the “Unsubscribe” button. However, we may be unable to provide our services to you if you withdraw your consent with respect to our use of your personal information.

Links to third party sites. The Site may include links to third party web sites. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies which EXP recommends that you read. EXP has no control over these sites and, accordingly, does not assume any liability with respect to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information resulting from your visit to such sites.

Security of personal information. Your personal information will be kept in a secure environment in order to protect it against unauthorized access, use or disclosure. EXP will keep your personal information as long as necessary or relevant for the above-described purposes and permitted by applicable law. You should know, however, that there is no guarantee that data will be transmitted securely through the Internet. Accordingly, EXP does not represent or warrant that the personal information will be protected against loss, wrongful use or alteration, and will not be liable with respect to the personal information you have provided to us, or with respect to the use or wrongful use of personal information by you or third parties.
