Warrior in Transition (WT) Complex - Ft. Bragg

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

Ft. Bragg, North Carolina

As part of this program, we coordinated with USACE's Fort Worth Center of Standardization (COS) headquarters and the individual base master planners responsible for selecting new campus sites with 25-year building life cycle targets.

Exp Federal provided site design and architectural-engineering services for design-build RFP development for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Warrior in Transition (WT) complex at Fort Bragg. This complex included multi-story barracks, company operations facilities, battalion headquarters, a soldier and family assistance center, and dining facility. In addition, the complex also featured vehicle parking areas for employees, soldiers, and family members, as well as dedicated storm water treatment areas. Our RFP preparation services included site surveys, utility coordination, transportation engineering, geotechnical studies; architectural design; structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and environmental engineering; cost estimating and value engineering. We also provided construction administration services and quality assurance during construction. We led all design charrette meetings with installation personnel, other Center of Standardization (COS) districts, and users to facilitate the design and coordination with the long-term base operations plan for future development.
